WHAT DO WE DO?
Turning
Thousands of products have been manufactured using our high-tech precision engineering CNC machines. Our machines can define product profiles to a 10th of a micron. We have manufactured components for large establishments such as, The Ministry of Defence, BP, Silverstone and JCB. All components are checked for quality and we implement strict quality control.
Milling
Using advanced CNC Milling machines we can develop high end components to various profiles. We can manufacture components requiring multiple operations on multiple axes. We can operate on 4 axes allowing for a greater accuracy for a range of dimensions.
Sawing
We can saw materials of many grades. We have automated sawing machines allowing for maximum production. By reducing the cutting width, more of the material can be used, and as a result decreases waste too.
Grinding
Grinding is another area we can service in house. Again this helps maintain low costs of manufacturing. We have engineers who maintain the grinding aspect of any job to a high standard.
Welding
On many occasions, a project may require aspects of welding. We have specialist welders who have years of experience. So you can leave the entire project with us and we will manage the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.
Heat Treatment
Materials come in many grades. We can supply these if required. Some components require special post process in order to withstand harsh environments. A typical example of this would be steel rollers for train tracks.
Plating
Similar to Steel Hardening, some components may require a special coating which will allow them to react in a different manner on contact. By coating a component, you can significantly increase the lifetime which ultimately makes it more cost effective.
Galvanising
Applying a Zinc coating to Steel or Iron allowing for protection against rust. The zinc coating is applied in a Zinc bath and offers benefits. Firstly it protects the core material from rust, and secondly, it acts as a sacrificial anode. So even if it is scratched, the core material is still protected.
Gear Cutting
Gears are used everywhere from industrial kitchen equipment to large recycling plants. We can manufacture the right gear, engineered precisely to your requirements.
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used for industrial manufacturing application. Laser cutting leaves the finished product with a high quality finish edge and is used to cut flat sheet material.
Waterjet Cutting
Using highly pressurised water, Waterjet Cutting is capable of cutting through a range of materials using jets and sometimes a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. Waterjets are often used when the cutting temperature is important.
Reverse Engineering
Often a unique components may require to be manufactured. However it may not have any measurements or details of the material. We can take the existing component and reverse engineer it. We can then manufacture the same component with any adjustments required.
